Repurposed Structures mod 1.19.2, 1.18.2 (Forge)

Repurposed Structures mod

Jungle Fortress at sunset: A Stonebrick variant of Nether Fortresses now spawns rarely in Jungle biomes! These vine covered Jungle Fortresses are quite a sight to see. But beware, a very tiny fraction of the Stonebricks are infested with Silverfish!

Repurposed Structures mod 1.19.2, 1.18.2 (Forge) for Minecraft is a patch that creates new variations or changes to existing vanilla features and structures! The majority of the buildings and features in this mod were originally designed for my Ultra Amplified Dimension mod. But then I realized that these features and structures would look fantastic in the Overworld as well, so I decided to break them off into their own mod. This mod is fantastic!

This mod currently spawns Nether Fortresses made of Stonebrick blocks in Jungles, Dungeons and Mineshafts now have more variants to match whatever biome they’re in, Strongholds now have a configurable size and more Silverfish spawners, Giant Tree/Spruce now has a configurable size and has more Silverfish spawners, Giant Tree/Spruce now has a configurable size and has more Silverfish spawners, Giant Tree Taiga Hills biomes now feature massive ore-filled rocks that may include Diamond ore if you’re lucky, Taiga Mountain biomes now have small boulders, Swamps now have a new 2×2 swamp-like tree, and numerous new Desert Well variants for other biomes have been created!

This mod may be used in a modpack or the source code can be downloaded and modified. Because it’s all under the MIT License, you may do whatever you want with it! Also, make sure to have a peek at the pictures page for some samples of how the world appears! In addition, the part below this one discusses how to set everything, as I want players to be able to customize things to their liking.

Screenshots:

Mushroom Dungeon: A dungeon that spawns only in Mushroom biomes which makes it very rare! It is also the safest dungeon as it will not have any hostile mob spawners.
Nether themed Well, Temple, and Stronghold: The Stronghold is now themed to the Nether when in Nether biomes! In addition, the Desert Well and Jungle Temple also has a Nether variant to help make the Nether more interesting!
Ocean Mineshaft and Ocean Dungeon: Under the depth of the Ocean, you can find Prismarine infused Mineshafts and Dungeons that looks really neat! Beware of the Drowned tho!
Snow Dungeon in an Icy Mineshaft: When you are in an Icy biome, you can find ice filled Mineshafts and Dungeons! The Dungeons will use Stray spawners instead of Skeleton spawners.
Jungle Fortess seen from ground level: The fotresses can be tall enough to run along the tree tops but it can also go a bit below ground. The roof of this fortress also makes a nice staircase as well!

HOW CAN I CONFIGURE THIS MOD?

To update the config file for this mod, navigate to the config folder above the mods folder and edit the repurposed structures-common.toml file. After that, exit/restart Minecraft to see all of your modifications take effect. Please bear in mind that the config will effect this mod across all worlds.

There are several configuration choices available right now. The add ToModdedBiomes config items may be of particular relevance to you. When this option is enabled, the config will add the features or structures to any modified biomes that fall into the appropriate category. If addMineshaftsToModdedBiomes is enabled and you have a mod that adds a new type of Desert biome in any dimension, that biome will now spawn Desert themed Mineshafts!

You may turn on and off each biome variety in Dungeons, Wells, and Mineshafts, as well as alter their total spawnrates. If you wish to stop chests from spawning for whatever reason, you can switch on or off the spawning of chests in Mineshafts.

The Jungle Fortresses configuration is quite simple. You can modify their spawn rate, how many Stonebrick blocks are infested with Silverfish, whether or not Silverfish spawners are created, and whether or not treasure chests are created. There isn’t much else to say!

Change the size of the Stronghold, their spawnrates, how many Stonebrick blocks are infested with Silverfish, switch on or off the extra Silverfish spawners, and prevent the production of loot chests using the config for Strongholds.

Finally, the remaining characteristics (2×2 swamp tree and boulders) may be individually activated or disabled.
